Today Mozilla released Firefox 66.0 with an exciting group of new updates.
Block auto-playing content:
Firefox will now prevent websites from automatically playing sounds. There is an option to white list the site to allow sound or it is possible to turn off the feature completely.
Scroll Anchoring:
This new feature gets rid of the annoying page jumping that is caused by slow to load ads. Think about when you start to read an article or click on a link and the page suddenly jumps causing you to lose your place. Mozilla claims this will also help smooth out the scrolling experience.
New Search Features:
Added now is support to search multiple tabs and also search within private browsing.
Support for Windows Hello with web authentication:
Web authentication will now support Windows Hello with Windows 10.
